We are still in our “birthing” phase. All of the articles listed below will be much larger and uncut at our premier on Sept. 1st.

Gay Rights or Religious Persecution?

the gay cake in question Everyday, it seems we hear about someone whose rights were violated because they were gay. Recently, a gay man in Ireland wanted to buy a cake that said: “Support Gay Rights”, the only problem is that they “just happened” to pick a company who has a long standing history of being Christian. This makes me wonder if all of the supposedly recent incidents of “discrimination” are just Gay people targeting religious led businesses for the purposes of getting them in legal trouble when they run afoul of whatever “anti-gay” discrimination law that exists in their hometown. This has become not about Gay Rights but about religious persecution in the largest sense.

Like going into a Jewish/Islamic restaurant and demanding a Ham Sandwich.

Imagine, if you will, going into a Jewish or Islamic owned restaurant (both knowing they are religious, and knowing they have strongly held views) and demanding that they make you a Ham sandwich with a picture of the Virgin Mary on it. Furthermore, when you did not get your Ham sandwich, because they did not stock Ham at these restaurants you would take them to court for violating your rights to eat a Ham sandwich. Not only would this be an affront to the religious beliefs of the restaurant you are demanding the sandwich from but it would also make you a bully and jerk. This is just like McCarthyism in the 1950’s where if you did not follow the right political stance you would be summarily stripped of your career, your status and in many cases your good name. We cannot and must not devolve into this type of ideological warfare. Somewhere there is a Gay cake baker who needs business and is primed to make a killing, why not let this guy have your business instead of targeting religiously owned businesses. This article will be online: Sept. 1st.

Solar Power is one of the cleanest and most abundant energy sources on the planet, yet, sadly most people do not utilize Solar Power as a way to augment their existing power sources. There are so many ways to switch to Solar Power right now that you could literally take your pick. There tons of tutorials out there including: Youtube videos, Internet Tutorials and Books. There are also many firms who specialize in the installation of Solar Panels and Solar Arrays.

The fact of the matter is that you can save hundreds of dollars over the life of your home by switching to Solar Power. From your heating and air conditioning, to the amount of energy you can save from your general computer and TV use, Solar Power can save you thousands over the long run.

A talk with an Industry Specialist.

In this interview I am going to be talking to a small business owner and founder of Norco, CA based Solar Blvd. and discussing the issues surrounding solar panel installation and maintenance. Solar Blvd. has been in business for over 10 years and provides 12 Volt Solar Panels, 24 Volt Solar Panels and all of the materials you need to build your own Solar Powered array. We will also be discussing how you can use Solar Panel while you are camping, boating or just traveling across country. Yes, that is correct, many RV owners utilize Solar Power as a way to power their electricity on the road. If you think about it, it makes perfect sense, an RV can a traveling Solar Cell. Whatever you think about Solar, I urge you to come back and read this really great article on the ins and outs of Solar Panel arrays. This article will be online: Sept. 1st.

Aerospace Industry Business Requirements

The Aerospace industry has always been a fascinating one, from Boeing to Nasa, we have come a long way since the first time the Wright Brothers ever flew a plane. We have landed on the moon, landed a rover on Mars, we frequently do Transcontinental plane flight across the Atlantic in ways our forefathers and ancestors would never have thought possible. And we do all of this through the magic of the science of Aerospace engineering. However, what do we really know about the Aerospace industry, what protections are provided for us when we place ourselves into the hands of one of the great flying machines that we board every day.

A short look at Aerospace Quality Regulations and Safety.

There are several different quality and safety regulations that Aerospace companies must abide by in order to stay in business. Aerospace industry manufacturers are of course heavily regulated by the government for safety and security, but what about private entities. AS9100 certification is a set of quality standards which apply a uniform code of compliance for all aerospace companies. This standard has been revised over the years with AS9100C being the most recent certification. It should be noted that AS9100 is based upon standards derived from both the Military and the more popular ISO:9001 certification standards.

It should be noted that Aerospace safety is one of the key goals of any aerospace certification and AS9100 seems has that covered in spades.

The next time you board a flight.

The next time you board a flight, think about all of the processes that went in to keeping that plane safe and secure. There are a lot of ways that you can die on board a plane, just be thankful that the good folks that follow certification requirements like AS9100 and ISO:9001 keep you safe and sound.
